We had a great beginning of spring type weekend here. The weather has been pretty hit-and-miss (warm one day and cold the next), but we were able to get out a bit this weekend. We walked around Congress Park in Saratoga and watched the ducks for a little bit on Easter morning.

Trevor spent quite a bit of time on Saturday bottling all of the syrup he cooked on Thursday and Friday. We’re at close to four gallons, but right now he’s debating on whether to keep going or call it for the season.

We spent a lot of Easter Sunday just hanging out at home and then had dinner at Trevor’s parents house. It was great to end the weekend with family and just chill out. I made a yummy cake recipe that I’ll share later this weekend. It had strawberries and cream and reminded me of summer. I have quite a bit going on at work this week, but I’m excited to get cooking with some new fitness classes at my job. You apparently can’t eat treats everyday and not work out (who knew?!?!). So here’s our weekend in photos.
